Remodeling You Can Actually Trust

We're a licensed general contractor that plans your project thoroughly, prices it honestly, and manages every detail with our own team. Kitchen renovations, bath remodels, guest houses, and whole-home updates done right.

A Better Building Experience

We keep experienced, multi-skilled professionals on our team and hold every person on your job site to our standards. You know who’s in your home, and so do we.

We scope every detail and set a fixed price before work starts. You see exactly what you’re getting and what it costs before we pick up a single tool.

Your project isn’t passed between departments. The same team that plans your remodel builds it and walks you through the finished result. One point of contact from start to finish.

We lead with updates: what happened today, what’s coming next, and any decisions we need from you. You won’t have to chase us for a status report.

Our Residential Focus

Homeowners bring us projects they’ve been thinking about for years: outdated kitchens that need a complete rethink, bathrooms that deserve more than a surface refresh. We plan each one thoroughly, set the price before work begins, and build it right.

We also take on larger renovations, home additions, and accessory dwelling units. If your project needs a licensed general contractor, we’re built for it.

For real estate agents and buyers working through a transaction, we handle inspection repairs too. Our process makes that work run well.

How Every Project Works

Our process stays the same whether you’re remodeling a kitchen or replacing a few fixtures. You’ll know what’s happening, what it costs, and who’s responsible.

01

Discovery

We visit your home, walk the space, and listen. This first conversation is about understanding what you want, what’s bothering you about the current setup, and what a good outcome looks like. No sales pitch. Just questions and honest answers.
02

PLAN AND PRICE

We build a detailed, line-by-line scope of work and set a fixed price. You see exactly what’s included, what it costs, and how long it will take. You sign off on the plan and the price before we pick up a tool. Once you do, we move into prep: ordering materials, confirming lead times, and locking in the trade schedule so the build runs on schedule and in the right order.

03

Build and Communicate

Construction starts on schedule. You get regular updates: what we finished today, what’s coming tomorrow, and any decisions we need from you. When something unexpected comes up, we bring you options and a recommendation. We treat your home with respect and keep the site clean.

04

Walkthrough and Follow-Through

We walk the finished project with you and don’t call it done until you agree. After you settle back in, we check back. If something needs attention during the warranty period, we handle it.

Your Questions, Answered

How do you price a remodeling project?
We start with a detailed scope of work that lists every item, material, and trade involved. Once the scope is set, we lock in a fixed price. You know the total cost before work starts. If something changes during the project, we explain what we found and give you an adjusted price before we proceed.

We keep experienced, multi-skilled professionals on our team and hold everyone on your job site to our standards. When we bring in specialized trade partners, they’re people we’ve worked with and trust. You’ll know who’s coming into your home, and so will we.

It depends on the scope. A straightforward bathroom remodel might take two to three weeks. A full kitchen renovation could run six to eight weeks. We set a realistic timeline during the scoping phase and keep you updated throughout the build.
We tell you. If we open a wall and find something that changes the scope, we stop, explain what we found, and give you options with costs before we move forward. No surprises on the invoice.

Yes. Ironstone is a licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor. We carry general liability and workers’ compensation coverage on every project.

We often can, depending on the scope. Flooring, painting, drywall, carpentry, and other smaller projects go through the same process with the same accountability as our larger work.
